The socks, made in Britain from merino wool, were inspired by Matt Sewell's painting of the Cirl Bunting, an endangered bird on the UK's red list. 10% of sales from our Matt Sewell + Silverstick collection are donated to rewilding projects in Britain. These socks are made in Britain using traditional methods and high quality merino wool yarns. In accordance with Õko-Tex Standard 100 and ISO 17050-1, the wool is coloured using azo and chlorine free textile dye.

Trust us, we have walked many a mile in these glorious things. Dare we say, they've changed our life! Mohair is just about the best natural fibre you could find for a sock: long-lasting, comfortable, warm in winter, cool in summer, plus non-shrinking & machine-washable too! This colour is hand died so colours vary slightly. Small  4-7,  Medium 8-10, Large 11-13
